!±8± fun with a Worksman Team Dual Trike recumbent tandem

This is a semi-recumbent side-by-side tandem trike with a front hub electric assist motor, rented from Practical Cycle in Old Sacramento, CA. I had a disabled friend as a passenger, so he was unable to do any pedaling. I decided to challenge myself by attempting to climb some short steep hills without the motor. When I found some nice long flat sections to go full speed with the motor, we were probably going between 15-20 mph.
